1. First, it is a requirement to have D3 and FlashCONNECT fully installed and working in your environment. To test FlashCONNECT, Click Here. If a window opens and shows D3 information, then FlashCONNECT is fine. If not, please check FlashCONNECT.
  2. The main directory of this demo suite was named fcdemos. Put this directory, along with all of its files and sub-directories on your website under your wwwroot. You can safely change the name of the fcdemos home directory, but do not change the name of any of its sub-directories or files.
  3. In D3, The account fcdemos contains all of the D3 programs and data required for these demos. Use dev-make or chg-device to point to the pseudo-tape fcdemos.d3p, provided in the base fcdemos directory.
  4. Account-restore fcdemos from the pseudo-tape. (Account will function as VME or FSI account in D3 NT.)
  5. From dm, update-md fcdemos.
  6. In the www account, www-update-md on the fcdemos account to enable the account for FlashCONNECT use. This sets up the proper q-pointers to w3html, w3apps, etc.
  7. Logto fcdemos. A logon proc executes which will copy required items to w3html and w3apps. A notice will appear if there are problems. If the install is successful, then many of the demos will execute without any further installation. None of the demos which interface to D3 will function if the installation was not successful.
