This presentation covers the purpose and design
of FlashCONNECT, Pick Systems Web enabling tool. The new features
in the recently available FlashCONNECT 2.1 release and the features
being considered for the next FlashCONNECT releases will be presented.
This session is for attendees with little or no knowledge of FlashCONNECT
and attendees wanting an overview of new product features and product
direction.

a clear understanding of how to install, manage and support a FlashCONNECT
site. This class is intended for developers and MIS administrators
with a good knowledge of the D3 environment. |

FlashCONNECT Advanced

Suggestions for working with FlashCONNECT
and ISP’s, firewalls, security, graphic artists, load balancing/load
fail over and D3 as an HTTP client will be presented. Additionally,
approaches for non-Pick programmers will be discussed. Examples of
using FlashCONNECT to provide information to applications using non-Pick
technologies such as ColdFusion, ASP, VB, Java, JavaScript, and multi-media
development tools such as MacroMedia Director will be shown. Learn
methodologies for handling State/Persistence and client side validation.
